Field Application Scientist

We develop novel, high throughput technologies that vastly increase our customers’ ability to study microbes – the single most diverse and impactful group of organisms on the planet. The initial company product, the Prospector™ I System, will significantly improve the capabilities of today’s microbiome research labs to cultivate, screen, and study microbes. Study of the microbiome is opening up an entirely new understanding of the role bacteria plays in our health, environment, and the products we use in everyday life. GALT is currently seeking a Field Application Scientist (FAS) to provide critical customer application support as we roll out this revolutionary new technology. The Field Applications Scientist is a key member of the Commercial Operations Team. Working with early access customers, and providing on-site support will be the primary function of this role. In addition to working directly with customers, the FAS will be a key source of feedback to the R&D Team, and will be expected to periodically work side by side with the R&D Team. The ideal candidate will have a unique combination of customer oriented support experience, and laboratory based skills.
